HB 750     RELATING TO ISLAND SYMBOLS                              CAR, JHA
(HSCR 202) Establishes an official color and flower or lei material for
        each island.

HB 2501    RELATING TO THE HAWAIIAN HOMES COMMISSION ACT, 1920, AS AMENDED
                                                                JHA, FIN
        Allows the DHHL to adjust the interest rate on loans made from
        the Hawaiian Home Loan Fund.

HB 2504    RELATING TO THE HAWAIIAN HOMES COMMISSION ACT, 1920, AS AMENDED
                                                                JHA, FIN
        Allows the chair of the Hawaiian homes commission to extend the
        employment contracts of individual employees beyond the current
        six-year limitation.

HB 2505    RELATING TO HOUSING LOAN AND MORTGAGE PROGRAMS          JHA, FIN
        Clarifies that the Housing and Community Development Corporation
        of Hawaii and mortgage lenders contracted to provide mortgage
        financing are authorized to provide project-based Hula Mae
        financing for housing projects on Hawaiian home lands.

 
 
 
HB 2733    RELATING TO THE HAWAIIAN HOME LANDS TRUST               JHA, FIN
        Provides that the Office of Administrative Hearings of the DCCA
        shall resolve claims timely filed with the Hawaiian Home Lands
        Trust Individual Claims Resolution Panel under Chapter 674,
        using panel procedures.  DCCA is to determine the question of
        breach, and award fixed compensation.  Gives claimants the right
        to chapter 91 review of DCCA decisions.  Repeals individual
        claimants' right action for breach of trust in state circuit
        court.  Repeals the waiver of sovereign immunity.  Repeals
        jurisdiction of state and federal courts over individual claims
        of breach of trust under the Hawaiian homes commission act or
        state constitution.
